Residential intercom applications typically involve an intercom station at the front door, kitchen, bedrooms, home office, and back patio.  This gives the homeowner the ability to respond to somebody at the front door from virtually anywhere in the house or to communicate with other family members from anywhere within the house.  Additionally, many residential intercom models have the ability to answer the front door from the closest telephone.

Some residential and commercial intercom applications may require a remote intercom station at a front gate or a locked delivery door.  Armor Clad Security can install a remote switch which activates the door or gate in order to permit entry once the person has been identified by somebody inside your home or office.  Video cameras can also be integrated with the intercom system to allow for easier identification of visitors.
